Retro means different things to different people. Do you mean from the 1950s? The 1970s? The 1920s?

Putting your name in any business doesn't help your customers understand how your business is different. Sure, it's owned by you, but why should that matter to them?

Imagine your salon next door to 5 other salons. What would make someone choose yours? Are you open 24/7? Do you specialize in difficult hair (or difficult to please people)? Do you only have highly experienced staff, or only very young, highly experimental staff?

Focus on what makes it different in your business marketing. If you can't figure it out, neither can your customer.
