Name Our Trade Show Badge Printing Software

Our trade show badge printing software is an easy to use badge printing and badge design program that is integrated with our trade show badge scanners and lead retrieval products. We have named the Software suite “BadgeMax”

Our system consists of 3 modules:

A Designer that we call “BadgeMax Designer” and an onsite printing module called “BadgeMax Connects”.

We are seeing a name for our third module of the software that uses the file created by Designer to display the data entry screen. It is the main end user application for the whole suite of products. It allows data entry and badge printing, based on the information created by the Designer component.

-Uses the file created by the Designer to display the data entry screen.
-Allows data entry for on-site registration. Data can be written to either a Microsoft Access database or an Excel spreadsheet.
-Uses the badge template created in Designer to print badges. Badges can be printed immediately, or queued.
-You can search for a person’s data on one or more fields for easy editing.

Tagline For Female OB/GYN

After working for 7 years in an ob/gyn medical group, I am parting ways and opening my own ob/gyn practice. When looking at the other doctors (competitors) in the area where I am planning to relocate, I have the advantage that I am a woman. Also, this area has a high Spanish speaking population and I am bilingual. The name of the practice is First name+Last name, MD, PA.

I am looking for a tag line that incorporates the practice experience already acquired, my gender, and the multicultural aspect of my background. Once the tag line is selected, I will translate it to Spanish to address my Spanish speaking patients.

Thanks for the help/Muchas gracias por su ayuda

Name For Wellness Program

I need to think of a name or brand for our wellness program that we will soon be rolling out. Our company manages skilled nursing facilities and short term rehabilitation centers. Our Motto is “Caring for a lifetime” We often reward employees for committing to memory and living out our Mission through a program called “I know it, I live it”. The wellness program is for the staff at the corporate office, or “Support Center” but depending on its success could also be rolled out to the Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Need Name For Gift Basket Business

I am being called upon to create gift baskets here at work and, in order to be successful, feel I ought to have a separate website (ours is not so good). To create a website, I need an address and to create an address…I need to have a name.
I work at a time share resort with Golf and Ski called Christmas Mountain Village. They (corporate) are looking at branding us (much needed), but focusing more on the “Mountain” part of the name not the Christmas end of things. The “baskets” will probably be boxes as I have found some great ones.

What’s Up With Social Media?

What all does “social media” include, and how should we take advantage of it?
“Social media” seems a dauntingly broad term. How would you define it, and what specific parts of it would you advise businesses to take advantage of?

###

Jay’s Answer: Social media is distinct from traditional media. Traditional media involves TV, radio, magazines, and newspapers. The cost to produce traditional media is high: experts are required to both produce the content and to disseminate it. Social media involves such things as blogs, forums, wikis, videos, email, etc.

Traditional media is generally perceived as authoritative. The perception arises from two reasons: cost and format. Since it’s expensive to produce, it’s assumed that only experts are commentators and the expertise isn’t easily questioned.

Social media allows anyone to say anything to anyone who’s listening. And that’s the rub with social media – everyone is on equal footing. Google CEO Erick Schmidt once stated that the average blog has one reader – the blogger. Therefore, trying to get your voice heard is like screaming into the digital wind – no one can hear you (unless you’re perceived of as a pundit).

The key to social media success is to go where your target market is already and become a frequent contributor to the conversation. If done well, people will start asking, “Who is this person?” and investigate you. That’s why you want to have your website, LinkedIn profile, etc. all in place – for when people are looking at you. Then, have a plan in place to capture their contact information (or provide a way for them to subscribe to your social media output, such as an RSS feed) so you can leverage your public contributions into a more private conversation (where you’re perceived us as the authority, and not just another contributor).
