Organizing a non-profit in our NJ seaside beach community. It will essentially act as a Chamber of Commerce but we don’t want to call it a COC. Our objectives will be to create and promote events to extend the shoulders of the summer season, focus on community projects to improve the quality of life for residents and businesses. We have the support of the town behind us for this new group but we are struggling with a name. Something that tells people what we’re about without sounding too business like. We want the support of residents and business owners. Name of the town is Beach Haven and we’re located on Long Beach Island, one of many towns on the island.
